Handsome watch... I wanted a watch for everyday that
could handle water, sports etc. and still look good with a suit.
For a little over $300 I have a good-looking, easy to read,
Swiss made watch. Very happy with my purchase.

I purchased this watch today for roughly the same amount that I would have paid on amazon with shipping...(under 325 w/ shipping as of 4/19/08, and I would say you are getting a good deal.) This watch really looks great. I have several chronographs (seiko, citizan, etc.), but this watch is the most attractive of the lot. It's basically a solid, timeless piece that I'm sure I'll wear for many years. It has a screw down crown, safety watch strap, and a beautiful, wide face. No alarm, which really didn't matter to me. The watch itself is very thick and heavy duty. If you are looking for a watch that you can wear with a suit but will still handle the rigors of the outdoors, then this is the watch for you. 5 stars.

The photo is not PRS 516 even though model number is PRS 516. Five days ago, the photo was PRS 516, balck automatic nascar watch.. I order it from shopathome. They sent me the idtem deferrent from those described and much cheaper.. Check to the seller if it is real PRS 516...
I will ask Shopathome for PRS 516. If they don't have it, I ask refunds... What a waste of time... Very disapponited

ShopAtHome sent some PRC200 watch and not the PRS516 shown here. They then told me they do not even have any PRS516s in stock. They sent me some white faced PRC200 and not the item described/pictured here.

This watch is just fine, I was impressed by the looks (in pictures) and by the reviews, but I was slightly disappointed. Let me be more specific, maybe it will help someone else decide:
- It's difficult to see from the pictures, but on the side of the watch there are some shiny decorations that in my opinion are at odds with the sports look of all the rest. Also because the watch is quite think (more than 1cm).
- The wristband is a riot. It's complicated, uncomfortable, ugly and uncalled for. You'll probably want to change it, like me.
- Small imprecisions of the movement are annoying and ultimately denounce the ordinary movement. For example: the seconds hand rarely falls squarely on top of the seconds marks in the quadrant. It's alternatively a little ahead or behind. Aaagh!
- A nice surprise: the crown is of the screw down variety.
All in all: an OK watch, but I was much more thrilled when I received my Torgoen, on which I had little expectations but instead delivered nicely.

Beatiful item, very nice dial. This watch can be weared in any case (casual and dress). Some find the strap difficult to put on-off, I don't find it that hard. it is different but not bad!

I bought this watch for me as a birthday present.
I really like the Tissot brand, because the finishing in their products, looks, and precision.
The watch feels very nice in the wrist, a bit heavy (which for me is a very nice thing, because it gives you the sensation that you have something nicely built on you) and the way it fits after taking out as many as needed links.
i am a watch lover (cannot say a collectionist right now because i do not own enough yet) but two months ago i had no watches because i just gave away my two ones. After that a very good friend who knows my like for watches gave me one, then my mother gave me one and now i was able to buy this one for me, but in a nut shell this is my best timepiece so far (i have owned many watches from different brands and styles)
great construction, even better looks, highly affordable price, cannot say enough.
it is better and more elegant in person than in the pics
if you are looking for a robust yet elegant and sporty watch, with high quality construction, look no further, BUY IT
