The solid 316L surgical stainless steel case is finished with the face of the case having a brushed finish while the frame of the case is beveled and finished with a high-polish to harmonize with the rest of the case. The wavy sun-ray guilloche texturing on the dial is truly spectacular and a hallmark of Stührling Original. With the day-of-the-week and date apertures side by side at the three oclock position, The Executive provides the vital information that men-on-the-move need in one quick easy-to-read glance. The knurled edge pull out crown is even more user-friendly with the case offering an opening just under the crown to facilitate easy grab for the quick-set day and date functions. On the flip side, the cushion-shaped screw-down exhibition case-back is marvelously decorated and the beautifully beveled border is high polished to harmoniously blend with the case itself. Through the sapphire crystal window you will see the mechanical automatic movement decorated magnificently with Côtes de Genève and circular graining patterns accented by blued steel screws.
