Looking like a porthole on one of those large cruise ships, Stuhrling Originals Cruiser certainly fits right in to that luxury cruise lifestyle! This gentlemens automatic timepiece featuring a big date complication is sure to impress, both from a technical and stylistic point of view. The large 40mm round case is constructed like a cruise ship, made from solid 316L surgical stainless steel and sporting sapphire crystals (front and back). The spectacular dial is embossed with concentric circles and the Arabic numeral markers are cleverly embossed into trapezoid-shaped rose gold plates for one of the most interesting and unique looking watch faces of all time. The hour and minute hands are luminous and outlined in rose gold, and the sweep second-hand and the luminous five-minute square dot minute markers are outlined in black for perfect color coordination. Standing tall at 13mm, the sides are scored with parallel lines further enhancing the illusion of layers being bolted down from the bolt-heads around the circumference of the porthole window. The knurled edge pull-out crown controls the time and the quick-set big date, and is extra user-friendly with the case being notched just below the crown for easy grab access. Through the decorated exhibition case-back you will see the 22-jewel mechanical automatic movement decorated magnificently with Côtes de Genève and circular graining patterns accented by blued steel screws.
