In the quest for more year-round accuracy, ancient Romans utilized sundials that evolved from flat horizontal or vertical plates to more elaborate forms. The Caesar II from Stührling Original pays homage to that period featuring a simple three-hand mechanical automatic movement with a date indication at the six oclock position the Caesar II is an absolutely stunning timepiece with its magnificent hydraulically stamped guilloche dial with a Cleopatra sweep design. Presented in a large 42mm round-shaped case milled from 316L surgical grade stainless steel and with a beautiful brioche rope design bezel, this timepiece will garner attention in any environment. The luminous leaf-style hands are a perfect complement to the Caesar II and the elegant Arabic numerals are all individually applied for an extra touch of perfection. The knurled edge stainless steel antique crown makes for easy controllability as well The Caesar II is powered by a 22-jewel mechanical automatic movement and is protected with a gorgeous decorated screw-in exhibition case back Water resistant to 50 meters and Krysterna crystals for durability and resilience, the Caesar II is mounted on a 22mm wide lizard-embossed genuine French leather strap The strap also comes equipped with a water repellant lining and quick release pins and is finished with a push button dual deployant clasp Execution Silver Dial with Rose Gold Hands & Markers, and a 16K Rose Gold Plated Stainless Steel Rope Bezel on a Brown Strap
