I bought this watch a month ago, and it stopped working about a week ago. It is a pretty watch, with nifty little details-- except it doesn't work. Also, it is made in China, so is of poor quality. It looks pretty but who wants a non-working watch? Now I have an expensive paperweight.

This is the most beautiful watch I have ever owned. The picture simply does not do it justice. It runs well and the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that Stuhrling Original gives its customers too much credit and doesn't understand that many people don't realize that the term "automatic" means that you have to wind this watch every other day or so. It is automatic in that it does not have a battery that has to be replaced. This is not a problem except that they don't tell you this in their directions, and more importantly, they don't give specific instructions as to how to unscrew the crown properly in order to pull it out. To their credit, however, their customer service department is excellent. I have had to contact them twice and both times I have received calls back within 24 hours of e-mailing them, the second time on a Sunday evening. So if you do purchase one of their watches and can't figure out how to work it, don't despair and don't break it trying to figure it out--e-mail customer service and you will be called. After that, you will be very happy with your watch! But I do wish Stuhrling would include complete directions in the first place!
