I had seen this watch, Women's Cupid II, as a Lightning Deal on Amazon a couple weeks ago. I have not worn a watch for years. But, the unique beauty of this watch and the well known reputation of Stuhrling, I decided to order this watch.
Wow, a true beauty! Besides keeping Father Time, I feel it completes my outfit. It has become part of my daily casual attire.
The package has been described by previous viewers and they are right. And, yes, the watch is much more beautiful than the picture.

One can see the clockwork pulsations inside. I did not notice on the web page, but there are small hearts along the background by the numbers. I read this self-winding watch will last around 30 hours or one must reset the time. The incredible details of this well-designed watch is a keepsake I can wear daily.
These watches sold quickly and am glad that Amazon decided to restock them.

I bought this watch for my wife's birthday. She is a watch lover. I can not wait to see her reaction.
What else can I say? I am so impressed with craftmanship and appealing of this watch. (I have seen several self-winding watches but with ten or hundred times as this watch.) The looks is so unique and arrogant. Wait until you see it.

I bought this watch for my wife for an early Valentine's Day gift. She loves it. We've been married 19 years and of all the gifts this watch seemed to impress her more than most other valentine's day efforts on my part. The heart was of course very appropriate! The back of the watch is see-thru and you can make out the fine detail of the construction and jewels. The packaging is very impressive, the watch feels substantial, and the band and clasp are well made. I highly recommend!

If you think this watch is beautiful in the picture than you will be floored when you receive it. I wore this watch for the first time today and I have already had three people comment on how much they liked it. I am also happy to note that the watch is classy enough to wear to a corporate work environment.
This watch is shipped flat (instead of wrapped around a holder) and is in a beautiful gift box. I thought it was also interesting that the back of the watch is clear and allows you to see all of the gears moving inside.
Very pleased & will be buying other watches from Stuhrling in the future.

This self-winding skeleton watch will never need batteries! It is a rather large watch, with subtle heart designs etched into the dial. The ribbon covered leather band has a slight shimmer to it which is very pretty. Because of the size of the watch, it might not look good on a petite lady.
Update: I now own this watch in two colors and love them both. The watch pictured has a light rose gold bezel & darker rose gold face which surprisingly goes with most of my clothing. This color works nicely with brown, brick, varying shades of pink, dark red, and coral. Probably even more colors, but those came to my mind first. I've received several compliments on this watch...even from strangers.

This watch is really great, the face is durable and hasn't scratched yet, even with repeated scuffings. (I'm pretty clumsy.) The ribbon has kept up is appearance, even when spashed with water. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. My only complaints would be that it's a bit chunky, and if I don't wear it for a day, it looses time. it needs constant movement or winding. Also, the narrow black dial makes it hard to tell time.

I bought this watch for a birthday present. It was her favorite gift. Looks beutiful and she received many compliments at work. I gave it to her in July it stopped keeping exact time 6 weeks later. It became non fuctional shortly thereafter and we returned it for repair on the 24th of September. We have not gotten a confirmation of receipt nor have we heard anything from Stuhrling since sending the watch in for repair. I can not recommend this watch because it was very embarrasing to have to return it for repair so soon after giving it as a gift. I am not sure that I will ever hear from the company again given that it has been several weeks since returning the watch. So buyer beware. I will amend my review should we have a successful outcome.

Fantastic little piece by stuhrling. I like to stick to invictas usually so I was skeptical buying a skeleton watch from a different manufacturer. Invicta had never failed me before. So when I opened this up yesterday I was BLOWN AWAY at the quality and presentation. The leather strap... just amazing. It feels like velvet, but looks like french leather. Its a very classy watch. Stands out, but at the same time isn't too gotti. Anybody you know has never seen a watch like this. period.
The heart is appropriate for a loved one and the view of the internals and the visual ticking adds a "heartbeat" feel. the box it came in was nice. no complaints. Good buy.

This Stuhrling watch keeps excellent time. The color is absolutely beautiful, and blends in nicely with all my clothing,from dressy to casual. The fit is comfortable with the adjustable band,stays flat on my wrist without gaps. I've received several compliments on this watch.

I can't believe how much I like this stunning watch. When you take it out of it's flat box, the first thing you notice is that it's a substantial piece of fine jewelry yet light in weight and so pretty in design. Incredibly easy to read. I'm so glad that I took the time to read the other comments here at Amazon and decided to buy this beautiful time piece. I'm a rather large women at 5'8" and 180 pounds and tiny watches look absolutely ridiculous on me. This watch is the perfect size for my wrist. Not to mention the high quality and craftmanship that's so apparent. Yes, I will most certainly buy another watch from Stuhrling. Oh! and Amazon got this watch to me, here in Spain, in 2 days. This watch has been back to the manufacturer twice for "replating". Soon after purchase, the plating on the bezel started to peel off. Many weeks after returning it to the manufacturer (New York), many phone calls and much grief later, the watch came back and the same thing happened (in the same spot!). It went back again, came back many weeks later and within a few days of wearing it the same spot appeared. Spent over $60.00 in shipping and insurance sending it back to them and it is still junk!
This watch was gently used by a gentle lady on special occasions - not worn everyday, not in the shower, pool, etc...
I purchased this item on January 28, 2008 as a Valentine's Day gift - unfortunately, I could not return it for a refund from Amazon because it wasn't used at all until near the end of February and the defects didn't appear until after the return period was past. Thus, the nightmare of having to deal with the manufaturer. So, nearly a year later, this expensive piece of junk is sitting in a drawer (should go in the trash, really...). Buyer Beware!
Stay away from this product, save your money and spend it elsewhere!

I got this watch for my girlfriend as a birthday present and she loved it. Getting her to wear a watch is no small feat and she still wears it everyday. The watch itself is beautiful and being able to see all of the gears inside is pretty cool. Since the face is shaped like a heart, the ticking insides make it look like a heartbeat, very steampunk. I would have given the watch a full 5 stars but I was personally a bit disappointed with the strap which is simple IS leather but it does not look like leather.

I'll keep this review short since others have covered a lot about this watch. What I want to point out is that this watch is actually quite heavy, and for people like me who don't like wearing a heavy watch everyday (say no more than once a week), this automatic watch may mean having to adjust time each morning you want to wear it. If you're ok with this problem, it is a beautiful watch and you will definitely get compliments.

I love watches & own many of them. I was searching for a new watch that was different from the rest. I happened to be on Amazon.com & saw this watch on " today's deals", which was a steal since it ended up costing less than $100.00. I researched it out a bit on other websites & decided to order it. I ordered it for a b-day gift to myself. It is beautiful.. the colors are stunning & I am really amazed at how it works. Perhaps, the best feature is that it will never need a battery!! I've received a lot of compliments on it so far, and I've only had it for 3 weeks. It's very feminine & the face of the watch is very delicate. So far, I am really happy with my decision to purchase this watch. I hope it lasts a long time.

From the advert, this watch looks beautiful. However, you will not be able to tell the time if you did not look at closely. What a waste for such an exquisite watch! The maker should have looked into this direction to rectify the fault. My regret.

I bought this watch a little over a year ago now, and still love it as much as the first day I got it. It is a large watch, which I prefer, and very striking looking. Several people have commented on it. The photos don't do it justice.
It is very physically sturdy, it still looks practically brand new despite wearing it every day. It is also quite water resistant, I never take it off to wash my hands and have never had a problem with it. Most important, if - like me - non-digital watches have a tendency to stop working when you have been wearing them for a while, this one is still working perfectly. It also seems keep time well.
I highly recommend this watch, for both looks and performance.

I absolutely love this watch - one of my biggest concerns is that the watch would look too "girly" as I was seeking a professional looking automatic watch. My concern was two fold - rose gold, and heart design. I will have to say the moment i opened the box my fears subsided, as the rose gold on the face is definitely much closer to the color the outside metal. The heart design is also nice, and not overwhelmingly "cute". I was fortunate enough to get this watch on a gold box deal for approx. $115, and this a great watch for the price. I love love love the automatic features, i could stare at the gears moving all day, and i especially love the EASILY interchangable straps. overall great watch, highly recomend!

I JUST GOT THIS PIECE FOR A REASONABLE PRICE. LOOKS AMAZING, TIMELESS PIECE OF WORK WE'VE GOT HERE. LOVE THE LUMINISCENT FACE ON THIS WATCH. ONLY CONS ON THE WATCH, I FOUND IT A LITTLE BULKY, PROBABLY 'CAUSE THE SELF WINDING MACHINE INSIDE WICH MAKES IT VERY INTERESTING AND LOOKS REALLY MANLY. RECOMMEND TO ALL GUYS. GREAT WATCH.

Got this from Amazon during one of their frequent watch sales for a little over a hundred bucks. It's a nice relief from my many somewhat glitzy Invicta watches that I wear most of the time. The face glows rather brilliantly in the dark. Also like the nice sweep secondhand action. The rusty brown color of the numerals is also interesting. Provided you don't mind the fact that it's an automatic, a very handsome timepiece in my opinion.

bought this for my wife and if you just want a bracelet its looks pretty it doesn't self wind and it loose time after winding manually. Would not recommend if you need it for a time piece
