Watch description

About Seiko SFWN69:
A cool blend of classic and modern, this midsize all steel watch from Seiko is a great way to update your look. The perfectly round 35 mm case is featured on a handsomely textured steel bracelet with horizontal center links and a single-locking foldover clasp. A traditional seconds ruler rings the silver dial, punctuated by silvertone hour markers for a contemporary look. The dial offers three-hand function with sharply tapered silvertone hands, a seconds hand, and silvertone Roman numerals at the twelve and six positions. A durable Hardlex crystal protects the dial and resists scratches. This Seiko watch offers reliable Japanese quartz movement and is rated water resistant to 50 meters.

About Seiko
In 1877, at the age of 18, Kintaro Hattori set up business repairing the Western-style clocks that were becoming increasingly popular in Japan. By 1892, Hattori was manufacturing his own clocks in a factory he called Seikosha, from the words "seiko" meaning "exquisite," "success," or "miniature," and "sha" meaning "house." The company grew and prospered, producing its first wristwatch in 1913 and launching the Seiko brand in 1924. Technological innovation has always been a driving force in the companys history. Key milestones include Seikos introduction of the worlds first quartz watch in 1969, and its successful launch, in 1988, of the Kinetic, the worlds first battery-free watch with quartz accuracy. Recognized for its technological excellence, Seiko has provided timekeeping services for the Olympic Games and the World Cup Soccer Championships. Today, the Seiko brand continues to stand for state-of-the-art technology, as well as superior quality and refined design.

Nice looking watch

I like the ever so slightly smaller scale of the watch AND the slim profile. The only thing that I am not thrilled over is the clasp - it is a little more difficult to secure. Seiko quality at a great price!
