My wife bought this watch for me as a surprise, because my other one was on the fritz. I can't tell you how many compliments I have received on this watch. It keeps great time and I will never have to worry with that battery again,I had a Seiko many years ago and I was never sorry that I bought it. If you buy this watch, I hope you will be as satisfied with it as I am. It truly is a great barain.

This is a very nice watch. It looks and feels like a much more expensive unit. The dial is very sharp, and glows well at night. For an automatic watch time keeping is within about 1 min a week, very good for an automatic in my book. I wear it everyday but sometimes it sits on the shelf for 12 hours so far the watch has not wound down. Only one con the band is very long, and not user friendly to shorten, I sold some silver coins to my local jeweler so he shortened the band for free.

this watch was the 3rd Seiko Automatic I owned. It stop working after about a year, took it to a seiko dealer and they wanted more than the cost to fix it. I just threw it out, paid an extra $150 and bought a nice swiss automatic. never have had a problem with it.
